By accessing or using Amara (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. These terms are a legal agreement between you and Breathe Amara.

2. About Amara

Amara is a digital wellness companion designed to support calm, breathwork, and self-awareness for people navigating social anxiety and everyday stress. Amara is not a healthcare provider and does not offer medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for personal health concerns.

3. Subscriptions and payments

Amara offers subscription plans. When you purchase a subscription, you agree to the price and billing frequency shown at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You may cancel anytime through your account or payment settings.

Our payments are processed by Stripe. Payment, billing, tax collection, and refund mechanics are governed by Stripe's Consumer Terms. Customer service inquiries about your subscription can be sent to us directly, or managed through the "Manage subscription" link in your account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation.
• Attempt to disrupt, hack, scrape, or interfere with the Service.
• Upload or share harmful, illegal, or infringing content.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or circumvent any technical protections.

5. Intellectual property

All content, software, branding, audio, visuals, and materials in Amara are owned by Breathe Amara or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal wellness purposes while your subscription is active. You may not copy, redistribute, resell, or create derivative works without our written permission.

6. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure operation. Amara is not a substitute for professional medical or mental health care. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Breathe Amara's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including lost profits, data loss, or goodwill, except where prohibited by law.

8. Termination and suspension

We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these terms, engage in fraud, abuse, or illegal activity, or create a security or legal risk. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends, and we may delete or retain your data in accordance with our Privacy Notice.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts located in California.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated Terms with a new “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
